One day in the Forbidden City I decided to focus my photography on the many architectural details of the construction. I am drawn to color, lines, patterns, and details. Sometimes we are awed by the huge scale of the palace and the many buildings that we fail to notice the little things. I hope you enjoy these photos. Much of the Forbidden City has been meticulously restored, but there are still a few sections that remain dilapidated.
